Noted a cable from reporting that the Supreme Soviet is holding a special meeting on 13 June and asked Mr. Sheldon to determine whether we had any further information on this. b, Noted he had received a letter from again expressing interest' in taking a trip and asked if such a trip might be of value to the Agen to prepare an acknowledgment and DD/P to furnish the Director recommendations. Mr. Wisner: Reported that BBC had been broadcasting excerpts of Khrushchev's speech before the 20th Party Congress to Russia, in Russian, and these broadcasts had not been jammed. Briefly reported on the activities of the Killian Committee and noted that the Committee had chosen Greece as the country on which to base its survey of intelligence reporting. The Director 25X1 said he hoped the Committee would select the time of the Greek elections as the period on which to base this survey.
