Attached is a list of names and Social Security numbers of a group of 50 International Fellows and three Administrative Officers from Columbia University, New York, N.Y. The first name on the list is a foreign national. He will not attend the briefings. They will be receiving unclassified briefings beginning at 2:00 p.m. and ending at 4:30. The briefings will take place in the Auditorium. 2. The group will arrive at Headquarters via their own transportation. Last year, the Fellows very much enjoyed our briefing by Mr. Hans Heymann National Intelligence Officer, and the panel discussion on China with and others from the Office of East Asian Ana ysis. As you may recall, the International Fellows are fifty of Columbia's most outstanding graduate students, selected for their achievements and leadership potential. They represent such academic and professional fields as political science, history, business, law, and journalism, and participate in a unique interdisciplinary course in international politics and foreign policy. Twice each yearthey are privileged with visits to Washington for a series of briefings with officials of public and private institutions concerned with international affairs. Enclosed is a current bulletin describing in further detail the Fellows and their activities. Please feel free to write or call if you have any questions. It is our hope that your analysts will find another discussion with the Fellows stimulating and enjoyable. They would certainly consider it a valuable and rewarding experience.
