a. Asked DD/P to alert our people at iI to keen a close 9S x 1
watch for an invasion by the press in the event anything is blown at
respecting PBSUCCESS. In connection with this project, Mr.
Kirkpatrick noted that two former agents might feel called upon to talk
in the event this activity is surfaced and stated while there was noth-
ing which could be done with one of these individuals who is on the West
Coast, there is a possibility that the other, who is now in Philadelphia,
would in all probability listen to reason. The Director asked that we do
what we can for this man.

at the suggestion of in connection with his assignment
to pre are a manual on Communism for the Armed Forces. Mr. Dulles said
that pre
had approached us for assistance and stated he was inclined
to do nothing other than possibly pass on that portion of the document
which deals with Communist activities abroad. It was noted that 0 25X1
Baird had also held some discussions however, no official 25X1
request for assistance had been received from the Department of Defense.
The Director asked to have 0 Baird prepare a brief report 25X1
on where we stand in this matter.

Mr. Amory:
Noted the Department of State was firming plans for the Geneva
Conference and asked whether he should raise with Douglas McArthur the
proposition ofl _J attending as an integrated member of the U.S.
SDelegation. The Director asked DD/I to discuss this 25X1
