a. Stated there would be no Assistant Directors' Meeting on Monday, 2
February; however, he did wish to meet with the ADs on Monday, 9 February.
There will be a meeting in the Director's Conference Room at 10:15 on 2
February to discuss problems concerning the Far East. Those in attendance
will be: Messrs Dulles, Wisner, Becker, Wolf, Messrs Helms,
and Amory.

operations. In response to a query from Mr. Becker, stated he 25X1

gence information.

the opportunity to see and asked Mr. Helms to bring him to the
Director's Dining Room for lunch on the 2nd and also to invite Messrs Wisner,
Wolf, and Oto attend.
a. Stated that Col. White had reported by telephone that the cost of
establishing the project, in all probability, could be reduced to half
of the original estimate.
b. Noted that the Arms flap reported at the Deputies' Meeting on 28
January 1953 appeared to be in hand.
