SUBJECT: Presidential Decision Concerning Hyshare 700
Computer Sale to the PRC (S)
The President has decided to review the decision concerning
the export of the Hyshare 700 computer to the People's Republic
of China in the light of new information which became available
following issuance of the memorandum of January 29, 1983, on
the subject (attached) which is now rescinded. This final
review will be done before submitting the case for COCOM
approval at a time when we are trying to strengthen the authority
and procedures of that organization. (S)

February 11,1983, a succinct statement of.your position on the
