his letter to John P~c~~ahon of 22 June. As we .discussed during. my visit,
the assignment of as Director of the Consolidated SAFE Project
Office (CSPO) shou s reng hen our joint development of SAFE. He is
currently the Associate Deputy Director for Processing, the component of
the Office of-Data Processing (ODP) which provides the majority of support
to CSPO. Consequently, we believe he will be able to insure the total
commitment of resources of ODP to the project. He has considerable
experience managing the development of large ADP programs, He is a good
