SUBJECT: Relocation of OTS Elements from
to M(S)
Project Engineer, RECD/OL
1. (S) Per telecon on 21 June 1978,
OTS Focal Point Officer, indicated that approval in prin-
ciple had been given by the DDA and the DDSFT for OTS to go
forward for project approval by the DCI.
2. (S) The revised funding requested, $750,000, is
based on approximate cost factors given to by
25X1A DC/RECD. When was made aware of RECD concerns
of the possibility of insufficient funds due to a budgetary
estimate being based on insufficient detail, he appeared
more concerned about going back to the DDA and DDS&T for
more money at this time. OTS is obviously hoping they will
have an excess of money.
3. (S) As fundin is identified within the Comp-
troller's Office and approved by the DCI, Mr. 25X1A
M will recontact RECD to begin detail planning. Mr.
has already contacted , to 25X1A
involve him concurrently with RECD.
