Director's Meeting
Thursday, 28 February 1952
PRESENT: Messrs. Dulles, leic+lf, Wisner, Becker,
b. Referred to the item in the log concerning Pfor~heimer's parti-
cipation with NSRB on testimony on security of the Nati?n's capital.
Mr. Becker noted that this had been coordinated and approved by Mr< Houston.
c. Stated that he had received a call from ~c ncerning
]appearing before the Brownell Committee. r. Becker noted that

he had discussed with the DCI the poesibili appear-
ing before this Committee while he was here.nn ok to discuss this
withr~~ at the next meeting of the above Con~nittee<
d. Stated that he had spent some time with Mr. Mitchell, Counsel
of the Committee, investigating the Katyn Forest matter and Mitchell had
requested our assistance, particularly in view of the fact that he would
accompany this Committee to Europe. After some discussion wherein it
was pointed out that (1) ~ was unreliable and should not be giTen
information concerning our operations; (2) we could not afford to let
the I~atyn Forest matter go by the board in view of its propaganda valuel
Mr. Wisner undertook to follow through on this matter. NOTE: D/DCI will
furnish IJD/P a memorandum of his conversation with Mitchell.

discussion stated that Colonel Q would show the file on this ynatter
to General Bolling. Mr. Dulles approved.

minutets published on the last meeting with a~ here indicated that
