Wisner, d~dolf, Hedden, The Director: a. Discussed his reply tv Gen. Ridgway's letter of 2 February 1952 an43 stated that (1) he desired iytr. Wisner to go over the draft prior to dispatca; (2j he had briefly discussed this matter with Secretary Pace and intended ~.;_, show him Ridgway's letter and, our reply thereto; (3) he also would advise Gen. Collins, as a matter of inform~~tion, the action he was recommending to Ridgway since Geri. Collins had received contents of Gen. Ridgway's letter in cable form. b. Noted that Security had reported to him that there had been leaks in the nature of agent identification to ~ and that nothing in the investigation was revealed to point the finger at CIA; however, there is a possibility that these leaks might have come from the Department of State. c. Gave the Director an article on Radio Free Europe and the Voice of America. ~: d. Stated that Gen. McClure had raised the old problem of securing complete information on resistance movements and, upon being informed t'r~at this information would not be made available, McClure had then requested Gen. Bolling to bring this matter to the Director's attention. After some discussion, the Director stated that (1) we sho~.zld deposit with the Joint Chiefs a copy of our plans; (2) it would be made plain that these plans would not be disseminated but were being furnished for possible use in the event five were bombed out"; (~) Gen.
