MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Training
John:
A few days ago. I sent you an invitation from the
Training Officers Conference to make nominations for awards. I believe
that invitation was addressed to the Director of Personnel, and on the route
slip I asked that you advise if you plan to make a nomination.
Attached is another invitation from the same organization,
this time addressed to the Director, and the Office of the Executive Director-
Comptroller has asked for a reply for signature of the DCI. The suspense date
in the Office of the Executive Director-Comptroller is 10 February.
Could you tell us something about this organization?
These annual invitations seem to be addressed to a number of people within the
Agency, and if so, I wonder if the correspondence should be conducted at a lower
level. We will appreciate your advice.
