Director's Meeting
Monday, 22 October 1951
The DCI mentioned the fact that for the time being we had
lost our fight on the Hill for a building. This can be brought up
again, however, in January. The DCI asked Mr. Wolf to be sure that
drawings were prepared for a siaple and austere building.
Mr. Wolf stated that we will take possession of the skating
rink on Wednesday. It will be some time, however, before it has been
altered for occupancy.
Mr. Wolf reported on a long budget discussion in regard to
COMMO on Saturday. He will give the DCI a memo later in the week.
Col. asked whether the DCI would see
today. The DC sa that this was impossible; that he ma
possibly see him later on. Col. 0 has a memo of background
material which he will hold for the DCI.
Col. read a list of future visiting members of
foreign intelligence services and made note of those that the
DCI would see.
