Five armed Cr-inese Communist guards, assigned by the Iaacao branch of the South China Sub,.-Bureau to guard the gasoline, boarded the vessel at Ch' ienshan ( 113-32, 22-14), 3, On 28 and 29 ~ia.rch seven ships brought 20,000 bags of ride to ilaac&o from Auchow (1 i 9-.i9y 23-29). The rice was stored. in the Vaip?ing warehouse on Yo riera rsjn Street. 4. On 3 April 1951, with the assistance of L1ANG Ch"arag****, a section chief in the a~.acao aeon?io ,Bureau, the an ,uaang Company sold all this rice to .41 the Yirig Chang ( 4 ) and Ito Chi***** Companies. On 29 Larch, 70 drums of gasoline, 13 tons of scrap iron,.and 17 tone of lead wire were sent from Kowloon to Canton on the Canton-Kowloon Railroad. o, On 30 karch, 45 drums of gasoline, 260 sets of truck tires, and about 10 tons of scrap iron were sent to Canton on the Canton-Kowloon railroad; 18 drums of gasoline, 1,800 drums of kerosene, and approximately 300 drums of coal tar were sent to Kongmoon (1?3-05, 22-35) by water from Macao, d. On 1 April, 260 drums of gasoline, 500 drums of kerosene, 12 tons of scrap iron and 375 drums of coar tar were sent to Canton on the Canton-Kowleoa. Railroad. eo On 2 April, 300 drums of gasoline and 8 oases of oommunioations supplies were sent to Uanton on the Canton-liowloon Railroad; 6 now trucks were driven to Canton by way of Chungahan (113-36,: 22-22) from the ALaoso area. * Comment. The Nan Hsin Company appears to be a frequent purchaser of rubber for the Chinese Communists; see 25X1A The Hong Kong Dollar Directory for 1951 lists the Tai Tung Company, 25 hillier Street, with branches in Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo and Bombay. 25X1A *** Comment.
