Alexandros III Patriarch of Antioch, has received, through the ordinary post direct from Moscow, a consignment of propaganda booklets acco np,tnied ay a request that they be distributed among Orthodox clergy in the Patriarchate. 2. The consignment consisted of well-presented 120-page booklets entitled "Tho Russian Orthodox Church in the Struggle of Peace" published in 1950 by the "Editions of the Patriarchate" in Moscow; and copies of the monthly "Journal of the Moscow Patriarohato". The Patriarch is expected to take the advice given to him by his intimates, that It would be unwise for him to distribute these booklets, and thereby associate himself with the tendentious political propaganda contained i-d them.
