Mr. Reber reported that he had. set up talks with (1-2 and A-2
on evaluations. He said that we wanted G-2 to evaluate approximately
350 out of 800 reports each month and some 50 0/0 reports each
month, and that we wanted A-2 to evaluate 150 =reports and 35 o/o
reports.
Mr. reported his discussion with Mr. Bahbitt ,)f
Civil Defense and said that a memorandum for the record would be prepared
and circulated to the appropriate Assistant Directors.
Mr. asked Mr L-jo make sure that a. report on
the Panama situation was prepared or dissemination to the Secretary
of Defense, the White House, and a sterilized version to Congressman
Anfuso.
Mr. Reber reported that he was holding a meeting on requirements
and that Mr.~f 0/CI had prepared a statement on covert requirement
