A certain Major Papalev (sic) was comr.aander of the Momchilgrad 0,c l*tor (RG-0031) until two months ago when he was sent'to Sofia and was succeeded by a colonel. The Momchilgrad Sektor (Fodelenie 4560) has the following uchastuks under its command: Ziatograd (RF-7515), Chorba,dzhiysko (RG-0015), and Krumovgr,?d (RG._1322) It is not known whether other uchastuks are under the command of the 1?a*nchilr?rad Sektor. 2. The Chorbadzhiysko Uchastuk has the following five zastavas under its commend Benkovtsi, Dolno Kapinovo, Ahcha, and Shu,:inatitsa. 3. The Ahcha Zastava, which is located south of the village of.Chakalarovo,, is under the command of the Chorbadzhiysko Uchastuk of the Third Momehilnre.d Sektor. The commanding officer of the Ahcha Zastava is tarrent Officer Blagoi Ivanov 4. The strength of the Ahcha Zastava is 27 men of whom two are stationed at Chakalarovo, where the food and equipment of the Zastava are stored. On 9 Septe~-.'ber 1951, the ;astava was temporarily reinforced by a ti:elve-rian group from the uchastukse 5. The Ahcha Zastava is equipped with the following: three German light machine guns, ten Shpagin automatics, and Vintovka rifles. The Zastava has no mortars or other heavy armament; .t has two mules at its disposal for the transr,ort of food from the village of Chakalarovo to the Zastava. 6. At the headquarters of the Zastava there are three men on guard. Two two-gran patrols are dispatched every three hours from the a.stava; one p:ntrol ooeretes to the east, and one to the west of the 7astava. 7. Ambush groups are not in place at night. Finch patrol has one automatic rifle with a circular clip and thirty to seventy rounds of anrnunition, as well as one Vintovka rifle with thirty to sixty rounds.
