observed passing through & estrin-Kietz in the direction of Frankfurt/Odor.
2. One train of 53 boxcars carrying personnel was aeon at Frankfurt/Odor rail-
road station on 3.1 October, A similar train was seen there on 13 October.
The personnel came from the direction of Cottbus and were detrained in
Rosengartenr*
On 12 October, billeting equipment and ammunition of the 9th Mechanized
Division were loaded at Weisawasser railroad station.' *
!. On ilL October, a train of 26 boxcars and. 26 flatcars loaded vrith aircraft
crates passed through Frankfurt/Odor. The train was going from uberswalds
to Brest-Litovsk.*25X1A
Comment: If the train observed on 7 October was occupied, it probably
carried recruits to the USSR. The same cannot be said for
the two trains observed on 31 and 13 October which possibly
went to Guben.
Comment: This information tends to confirm other information that
the 9th Mechaniz3d Division had left its troop training'
grounds and would arrive at its home station about
20 October.
