Dur- ing this period over 130 trains left for Mlanchuria, 80 of which were from iankow via Chungchowl and Suchow. Fifty of these were loaded with troops and ammunition. according to train attendants, a rough estimate of the total number of troops was over 60,000, including two armies of the !t Field army and one army each of the 2 and 3 Field armies?
