1. The Free Istria (Istria Libera) Cornittee has appealed to all Istrians
now in Trieste to take an active part in the forthcoming Zone A elections
and to avoid creating dissent among Italians.
2, The Committee sent out the following instructions to its adherents;
"Istrians, remember that above all others the following
are the enemies of the Italian cause in Trieste and
Istria:
a. Slovenes and Croats of the pro-Tito (Babic) Party,
of Deraokracija and similar groups;l
b; The ' Independentist' followers of Teodoro Mparer,$
the former Austrian sympathizer;
c, The 'Independentist' followers of lawyer Hario
Eitocca, the former Irredentist and liberal, who
pleases both Fast and vest. These men should be
opposed with every means, because they represent
anti-Italian factions;
d. The hybrids and lackeys of the foreigners, all
the shameless ones who have sold themselves to the
enemies of blessed Italy for a plate of beans. Use
every legal weapon against these traitors.
