25X1X 1. Road/Railroad bridge at Slavonsk Brody Approximate dimensions of this
bridge are;
Length (excluding approaches) .> 1 ,650 feet
Width (including 226" footpath) - 124 feet, 6 inches
Height above river - 35 feet
The bridge carries a normal and narrow--,gauge railroad track over the Sava
River and is closed to road traffic for the passing of trains. It is of
Bailey-type construction with wooden roadway and is supported on timber
trestles and an island in the center of the river.
2. Railroad bridgw at Doboj ; This bridge,, which is approximately 350 feet
long. carries the narrow-gauge railroad to Sarajevo over the Bosna River,.
It has four steel bow-string spans, and is supported on three concrete
pillars.
Road bridge at Doboj: This is a reinforced concrete beam construction
carrying the Doboj-Banja Luka road over the Usora River. Approximate
dimensions are,
Length - 300 feet
Width (exclusive of 3u feet wide
pavements on each side) - 16 feet
The bridge is supported on three concrete pillars.
la. New bridge at Bihac: This bridge, which will replace the present temporary
structures over two arms of the Una River, is completed and will apparently
be opened to traffic shortly. It-is of reinforced concrete construction.
Approximate dimensions are:
Length - 100 feet
Width (excluding two 1a9 wide pavements) - iS feet
Total width - 23 feet
Clearance - 12 feet
The bridge has reinforced concrete arches,,, three over the river and one
carrying the approach on the west side of the river.

5a Road bridges at Slunj: These bridges carry traffic over the Kortana
Hier on the acK ar ovac road, The main bridge has the following
approximate dimensions:
Length 24o feet
Width - 15 feet
Clearance 60 feet
This bridge is supported on five masonry pillars. A second small
Bailey-type bridge over an arm of the Korana River has the following
approximate dimensions:
Length - 25 feet
Width - 12 feet
Clearance - 60 feet
