la The 5 Infants Regiment moved from Ruse around 25 April,. 25X1 X
25X1 X There were about 500 to men, .1 of
them infantrymen. All carried riflesz7 engineering equipment (sic), and
a knapsack. About 15 horse carriages and mobile kitchens accompanied
25X1X them, they were transferred either to their
hetd.quertera or to the Turkish border areas.
2. The recall to active duty of reserves between the egos of 30 and 35 was
begun in Ruse in early May x9514 Some of these reactivated troops remain
in Ruse, while others are transferred to places unknown 25X1X
3o Since about 27 Nay, young Turks who had already served in the anly have
not been issued exit visas to emigrate to Turkey. This has caused great
regret among the Turkish minority in Bulgaria.
