Between 2d and 2:1 p.m,, on 31 May I-951x. four biplanes, one dark gray
single-eng.ixie high-wing monoplane with radial engine and rigid landing
gear, and one silver gray- i ow ", inlg monoplane with in -line engine and
plexiglass cockpit were parked in front of the hangars at herder air-
fielda here was no flying, Three radio trucks were parked near the
radio masts on the western edge of Fh field, Truck
were seen at the field.
Hay was being harvested on the landing; field? Twelve railroad cars with
coal were being unloaded,.
Comrent . The report confirms r; the previous assumption that the 22
alroraft .jh'_ch landed at ::girder airfield on 17 May 19 .1 were stationed
there only te:porari.ly.
The airfield is not occupied by an air unit but is used by courier planes
and transports,,
