(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO 1a The airfield about 800 meters southeast of the Chernyakhovsk (210148eE/5b0361N), Kaliningrad Oblast, railroad transloading station, was about 1000 x 1,500 meters, and had a concrete runway LO to 50 x 1,000 meters. 2. A hangar, about 50 x 100 meters, and a 25 x 30-meter stones building were on the northern edge of the field and an emer;;ency hangar, about 30 x 80 was in the southern part of the field. A fuel installation about 600 meters north of the field had 8 to 10 semi- underground containers. 4. Ground lights and six searchlights were ar an ;ed around the. field. 5. The field was occupied by about 20 fighters, 10 IL-2s, and 25 biplanes. 25X1 C ~omment: This out-dated report is transmuted only for the date indicating the serviceability of the field. It is known that hangars and billets were on the southern edge of the field and that the E-1J runway was 1,200 meters Ion More recent reports are required to clarify the occupation.
