SUPPLEMENT TO
In all the Ministries Soviet control has become more complete than ever.
In the main Ministries and especially those of industry (Ministries of
Industz7, Metallurgy and Oil) the higher employees work between 14_16
hours per day. The Soviets have demanded that the delivery of materiel to
the Army be accelerated.
3. Party responsibles have increased their home visits, as well as their demand$
for informa n, and have created all kinds of reasons to justify their
appearencesa
Non-ferrous metals have been taken. off the market completely. The Soviet
counsellors have classified these materiels as "strategic materiels".
A new influx of Soviet officers was noticed recently in Rumania" On
5 June 1951 a meeting was held at. the Tivoli theater in Bucharest on Strada
Academieio At this conference there were about 300 Soviet officers present.
Six trucks of the Z is type, with 50 officers to a truck, transported
these officers. These officers probably attended a political education
lecture or a military, conferenceo
