1.. One battalion of Hungarian army engineers is. stationed near I unaremete,o (Y26),
Km.. 1826, on the right bank of the Danube. The personnelisliving in tents,
in the forest . near the river. The battalion. has full .combat equipment.. The
pontoons used far bridging exercises are extra lam e, made of steel. The bridging
,equipment is stored.on the right.bank of the river,
A large unit of the Hungarian river-marines, about 1500.men?strong,,, is.
.stationed near Nagyba jcs (Y45) , I{~a. 1802, on the right bank of the Danube..
The, camp is equipped with electricity and may be considered semi-permanent.
About..150 large tents are visible, but there are more in .the forest . Tea
.motor gunboats could.be seen anchored in .the branch of the Panube, ."leading .to
f ytrszentiv. These boats were armed with '2 guru. and 2 machine gr. The
guns seemed about three times the size of the machine guns, but their exact
caliber could. not be ascertained.
A. Hungarian array unit is stationed near i point 16711., on the left bunk .of
the. Danube. The camp is extremely.well camouflaged&*
A Hungarian army unit, about 300 men strong, is billeted in a tent ca p.near
F"13k if trd8, W. 1680., on the right bank of the Danube.. They practice defend
the river bank.
A. Hungarian. army unit, consisting .of 11+6 .six-wheeled tr cks,, some with MG mounted
. on. tpp of the ' driver's. cabin, were observed near Frga, 'Km. 1712,, on the right.
bank of the Danube.
