Pussies Orthodox Church
I. The Russian Orthodox Church in North America is
suing the Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church in an ejection
for possession of Saint Nicholas Cathedral in New York. This
is the latest maneuver in a long dispute between the American
Church and the appointee of the Russian Church in Moscow.
Outside of some technical points as to the authority to appoint
Archbishops and similar matters, the Plaintiff will attempt to
demonstrate that the Russian Church is in effect controlled by
the Soviet Government and is utilised by the Russian Intelligence
Service sad for that reason has no standing as a religious body
in this country.
