1. Skibproject 22 is a .continuation of Subproject, 1, Which had
as its scope preliminary work on the isolation and characterization
of the alkaloids of Imoomea sidafolia ChoisT(Rivea corym bosa) in
order to determine their activities as agents affecting the centril
nervous system.
2. The results of the preliminary study are such that a full
program of research On this material is desirable.. However, further
investigation is required to determine the: best to be used
in, the purification of certain glycosideS.-i who
conducted the preliminikry work, has sUbmittea ne ammacnea proposal
to carry out this work as outlined by TSSIIII
3.: The Geschickter Fund for Medical Research, Inc., will serve
is cutout for transfer of funds to the investigator. The estimated
cost of the work according to the proposal is $5,300.00 for one year.
To this must be added four percent service charge for theGeschickter
Fund, amounting to $212.00. Therefore, the total cost of this investi-._
gation for one year will not exceed $5,512.00.

5. The Geschickter Fund has made arrangements for the return Of
unexpended monies to the Agency upon completion of the program. This
