Dear Coordinator:
Under the freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. subsection
552, I am requesting access to the agency's DCI General
Walter B. Smith's Weekly Friday Black Book Briefing for 19
December 1952 to President Truman on the subject of "flying
saucers" and any related document to this briefing as
referenced in the agency's declassified DCI Deputies'
Meeting Log DM-68 for Friday, 12 December 1952 that was
released by the Historical Collections Division HR 70-14
dated 2 May 2012. In this document it states in paragraph
(b.) that "this subject was to be discussed and recommended
the Director delay reporting to the President on flying
saucers until 19 December. The DCI approved."
If there are any fees for searching for or copying the
records, please let me know before you begin work on my
request.

exemption you think justifies your refusal to release the
information and notify me of the appeal procedures available
