SUBJECT: Goleniewski 's Allegations regarding
Secretary of State Kissinger as a Soviet Agent
1. This refers to earlier reports on Goleniewski's allega-
tions which appeared in print in the HERALD OF FREEDOM and was
reprinted by AMERICAN MERCURY MAGAZINE.

Washington, was interviewed by Representative Ashbrook at his
offices on the Hill 10 July regarding the Goleniewski allegations.

stated to have said that he thought Goleniewski 's statements
were bizarre, that he was obviously unbalanced and that his
publication should be disregarded. Assertedly, Ashbrook is

allegations.
