Hatem, using the alias MA Haieteh, wrote an article for China Reconstructs in the February issue 1957 entitle& "On the Sinkiang Road," pp. 22-25. The editorial squib about him says. "MA Habsteh (Dr. George Hatem) is an American born physician who has worked in China for 23 year*. He now specialises in health work among the national minority peoples." This was followed by an article by him in the March 1957 issue of.China Reconstructs entitle& "Clinic for the Kazakhs," pp. 12.16, and another article in the December 1957 issue entitled "Health for the Ahsi People."
