MEMORANDUM FOR MR. JACK MAURY
1. 1 had a telephone call from Leon Moore iivho
told me that the "Litvinov Memoirs. 'twhich he described
as a complete fake, were shortly to be published in the
USA by William Morrow and Co. and also in England by
some publishing house. He seethed to be confident as to
who is the fabricator of the memoirs and feels that it is
a great pity they will be published here.
Z. I don't see what we can do, but you may have
some ideas of what we can or should do about it.
