1. Update: Larry Gershwin, C/FDDC, noted recent
developments in the following areas:
-- Ames follow-up: Larry convened a Senior Steering
Group to head-up the Red Team effort, with the key
agencies represented. This group will identify problem
areas that deserve close red team review. This effort
will require some analytical time from affected
agencies. Also, Larry will recommend that the FDDC
briefings for analysts on the Ames' compromises of
finished intelligence be resumed.
