On 10 December 1951 units of the 3 Field Army were disposed as follows;
a. Headquarters of the 7 Army Group (AG) was at Hangchow, with the 21, 22
and 35 Armies stationed along the Chekiang. coast from Ptinghu (121-02,
30-42) to Wenchou (120-38, 28-01), and the 23 Army in Shanghai.
b. Headquarters of the 8 AG was at Nanking, with the 24 Army regrouping and
reorganizing, the 25 Army stationed in Fukien at Yunga" (117-18, 25-56),
Lienchteng (116-44, 25-43), Shanghang (116-27, 25-02), Lungyen (117-02,
25-07), and the 34 Army at Nanking.
c. Headquarters of the 9 AG was at Heuchou (117-16j, 24--18), with the 20,
26 and 27 Armies regrouping and reorganizing, and the 20 Army stationed
in North.Anhwei 25X1A
d. Headquarters of the 10 AG at Foochow, with the 28, 29 and 31 Armes
along the Fuxein coast.
e. Headquarters of the 11AG at Tsinan (117-00, 36-,41), with the 32 Army
stationed in north Kiangeu and the 33 AM stationed in Shantung.
25X1 A 1. Goznent. According to information available to this office,
as of early December the 20, 26 and 27 Armies were in Korea. The 30
Army was dropped from the order of battle before 6 June 1951.
