Syria: UN-Arab League Special Envoy Kofi Annan will brief the UN Security
Council tomorrow on the crisis in Syria _ Annan yesterday
met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran arid today with Iraqi Prime
Minister Nun al-Maliki in Baghdad regarding Syria.
Syria/Lebanon: One Lebanese civilian was killed today when a Syrian mortar
round hit a village in northern Lebanon and two Syrians living in Lebanon were killed by A car
speeding away from an area under fire, This marks the second
fatal artillery incident in three days
� Lebanon has begun sending troop reinforcements to its border with Syria in
response to recent attacks,
