As of late February 2015, one of
estem prisoners, which they referred to as "ti te Yahudi", or "the Jewish one", had been killed
in an explosion in the Shawal Valley, North Wazirisian Agency (NWA), Federally Administrated
Tribal Areas (FATA), Pakistan, while still in al-Qa'i, la custody.
al-Qa'ida senior leader Ahmad Faruq AKA Ustad Faruq AKA Faruq al-Punjabi had also been
killed in the same explosion with the Yahudi. The e) plosion took place in approximately early to mid-
January 2015. the Yahudi was
the only hostage who had been killed in the explosion.
