SUBJECT: Material Provided Vice Chairman Baker
1. This forwards two complete sets of material made available
(in volume form) in connection with Vice Chairman Bakery s inquiry. One is for
your use with the Special Prosecutor and the other is for your retention.
2. Custody, access and utilization of this material by the Select
Committee is subject to the 1 February 1974 Memorandum of Conference,
also attached.
3. Only two of the six volumes have been given to the Select
Committee for their retention (temporary). These are the volumes
labelled-UVolurne III, CIA Material Provided To Vice Chairman
Howard H. Baker, Senate Select Committee on Presidential Campaign
Activities from 26 January 1974 Meeting with Mr. Colby" and "Volume IV,
A CIA Exhibit."
4. We are in the process of pulling together the follow-up exhibits
resulting from the testimony of Agency witnesses last week. We will
provide you copies for the Special Prosecutor and yourself as soon as
the material has been completed.
