I am a student at

course, which is required to write a biography on
Mr. E. Howard Hunt.
in a composition
This biography must contain facts about his
personality and his life, not about his involvement
in Watergate. While searching for information for this
paper, I came across a testimonial by Mr. Hunt stating
that he had been a CIA member for 21 years. He was a
member from 1949 until retirement in May of 1970.
With this thought in mind, Mr. Helms, I decided to
write you in hopes of attaining some information about
Mr. E. Howard Hunt while he was a CIA member. The infor-
mation I am seeking is of a personal nature. Any facts
concerning Mr. Hunt's life or his contribution to this
organization would be very much appreciated.
As this biography is due November 18, I would be
very grateful in receiving any information that you
might be able to send as soon as possible. Thank you
