SUBJECT : Hunt Contact with CIA in August 1971
1. This memorandum reports on a contact in August 1971
between Howard Hunt and R. J. Smith, who had been DDI and
was between assignments at that time. I am submitting this
memorandum not as a report of anything improper but only as
a supplement to the record of CIA contacts with Hunt after he
left the Agency.
2. Attached is a copy of a note from Hunt to R. J. Smith,
dated 3 August 1971, transmitting a resume on a young man,
who was interested in CIA employment.
