Following are identifications of the documents held by the
President as of 15 December 1972.
Delivered to Mr. John Ehr;lichman on 1 October 1971. He signed
a receipt for them.
Two SNIEs on the 1958 crisis in Lebanon.
One copy of the report to the PFIAB on the intelligence
community's activities relating to the 1962 Cuban arms
build-up, plus,svolumes II, III, and IV of the annexes
to the report.
One copy of the 1961 IG report of survey of the Bay of Pigs
operation, including the DDp response and related papers
(411 bound in a single volume).
A paper entitled "Record of Paramilitary Action Against the
Castro Government of Cuba, 17 March 1960-May 1961." This
is a CS historical document. At Mr. Helms request, I had
the cover replaced to conceal the fact that it was an
official history.
A few days later Mr. Helms gave the President the ribbon copy of
"Record on Vietnam" We have no receipt. This is a highly
sensitive document that was prepared by the Inspector General in
1964. Mr. Colby is familiar with it.
