For purposes of our investigation, it is necessary to deter-
mine whether applied
for employment with the Central Intelligence Agency during the past
ten years and, more specifically, whether he applied during the
period November 1971 to July 1972. I would appreciate it if either
you or someone on your staff could supply us with this information,
and, if has applied for employment, if we could ekomine his
file and speak to those individuals who interviewed If Mr.
was in fact employed by the Agency, we would like to speak
wit those individuals who worked with him.
We may have similar requests in the future, and I would be
happy to consider your suggestions as to the procedure for submitting
