MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD SUBJECT: E. Howard Hunt 1. Yesterday, 8 January 1974, this office received information second hand from retired Agency employee, that subject would be arriving back in the Washington area. The detail of her information clearly indicated that Hunt had been in direct contact with her. was interviewed by this office on 24 December 1973 in connection with another matter involving Hunt at which time she gave us a copy of a recent letter to her from him. �171717L17 WO 91./1.0/LI.OZ :aseaia Joi pancuddV 2. Today, current Agency employee recently returned from Vietnam, reported to this office that he received a telephone call from Hunt last night. been close friends and Hunt askecr clean and straighten up the hot e. and Hunt had formerly over to his home to help him reported that Hunt is in a very mentally depressed state and talked of suicide if he were to be sent back to prison.
