' The following information comes front a usually well-informed Polish
source in Paris, where the subject delegates arrived 12 September.
1. The Polish delegation to the Slav Congress which is to be held
shortly in New York oonsists of:

2. Colonel EIROHMAYER and Major KRZYWICII have been placed in the
delegation by the Warsaw Goverment intelligence service, to which they
belong.
3. A report from the same source, dated September 1945 and never
confirmed, stated that a General SWIERCZEWSEI was connected with an
---"EIVD" group in Paris.
A General SWIERCZEWSII is listed in our files as a Communist,
and Commander of the Polish Second Army, taking his orders from Marshal
'MET. He fought with the International Brigade in the Spanish Civil
War, using the name of "GeneraLEALTHEe and was one of the Polish
delegates to the congress of former members of the Brigade held in -
Warsaw in November, 1945.
It is possible that this SWIERCZET=1 is identical with the
head of the present delegation. � .
