I visited Mr. Hunt on 2 February, at his request, from 1100 to 1500 hours. As usual, the visit was social, but during its course he expressed a desire to hire my eldest son on Thursday, February 7th, to work on the preparation of his house and grounds for sale of the property. Additionally, he wishes to hire my two eldest sons for the sane purpose on the weekend of February 9th. Both have been briefed by me on the need for circumspection in any chance meetings with unexpected visitors from the news media. 2. MY. Hunt informed me that Senate Committee investigators are scheduled to visit him on Wednesday, 6 February, 1974. Their area of inquiry will cover the extent of Agency involvement in Watergate, and in other extra-legal Executive domestic activities. He implied that he has information in this area so far unrevealed. 3. Three publishers are bidding for the rights to publish Mr. Hunt's recollections about the Watergate affair and its aftermath, and a final decision on who will do so will probably be reached this week. He has a subsequent work in mind, a more extensive memoire which will recount many of his activities on behalf of CIA. (b)(3) Approved for Release: 2017/01/18 C01474432
