NVA,Colonel VO THU, Chiel of the QUAND DA Special Zone, said that if the U.S.
increased their military strength in SVN, the Chinese Communists would enter the
war. December 1967 infiltrators stated that there were large number, of Chinese
Communist troops in WIN ready to immediately engage any GVN or Allied troop&
invading NVN.

NVA Colonel VO THU, Chiel of the QUANG DA Special Zone, said that if the U.S.
increased their military strength in SVN, the Chinese Communists would enter
the war and World War III would start. The Chinese Communists have offered
two million combat troops to NVN.
December 3.967 infiltrators stated that there were large numbers (amount
Unknown) of Chinese Communist troops in NVN. There were large groups in
HANOI, THAI NGUYEN, the northwest Military region, the VIET BAC Military
Region and along the NVN Chinese Communist border.
If an invasion of NVN was tried by either GVN or Allied troops, the Chinese
Communist troops would immediately engage the invaders. Because of the
Communist Chinese presence in NVN, the VC in SVN will never be eliminated.
The possibility of an invasion was talked about, when Colonel VO THU
mentioned that most NVA regular units would infiltrate SVN,except for ....
coastal defense units, AAA units, and units guarding important installations
in NVN.
