Following a pattern established in recent weeks,
the Argentine Ministry of Interior announced on Friday
the names *of 325 persons detained under executive order.
This brings to 2,993 the number of such prisoners ac-
knowledged by the government. The US, Embassy in Buenos
Aires estimates that the current political prisoner pop-
ulation is about 3,747 and expects that the remaining
754 will be' named in coming weeks.
