Two kilometers from the Albanian-Tugoslav frontier, between Peshkop and Sercishte, a number of trenches 8 to 10 meters long, ,80 meters wide and .05 to 1 meter deep were constructed by an army detachment in 1948. They we manned as late as July 1951, 20 Firallel to these trenches on the slopes of the hills, underground machine gri nests, having space enough for 10 to 12 men, were constructed. They are covered with tree trunks and earth, are spaced 300 to 500 meters apart, and have two apertures on the frontier side. 39 At the village of Virjon, four machine gun bunkers have been constructed by 1867 Infantry Regiment stationed at Delvine. One of the bunkers is near the vi:.lage church, while the other three are at the edge of the village,, oplosite the Virjon stream (eic). All, four are underground, constructed of cozicrete with one aperture facing the stream. There is space enough in each one for three men. They are located 70 to 150 meters apart. 4o At a distance 2.5 kilometers west of Delvine are three Albanian Arnr store. houses, two of which are 300 meters apart, 8 to 20 meters long, 5 motors wide and 5 meters high.
