w- two large cotton mills of the Chung Fang Company and Sheng Hsin Company,
e-ncch were dismantled in November 1950 in Shangha.i,were re-erected near
henghsien (113-40, 34-45) in February 1951. They were re-named the Hsin
Y! Fang Chih Company. The new site is about 2 km. x 1.5 km. in za:reY. The
,.,i;ildings are all low brick sheds. The two tall chimneys of the factory
on be seen from the train at WuUipao, five miles south of Chenghslen Station.
The factory went into nr-.r-~;ction again on I May 1951. it is under the con-
trol of a Joint Coomittee r.f South and East China, subsidiary to the Light
