troops are scheduled for construction in Buchholz near Schwerin so that the
barracks installations occupied by Soviet troops can be turned over to the V.
It was also said that the high school and Beethovensehule would be returned to
German authorities upon completion of the new quarters. Improvement work at the
Marste),.d in Schwerin was completed at a cost of 87r,OO0 eaetamarks. The komendatura
moved into the Marstall (stable) from houses on Mozart Strasse which were
returned to German authorities. The former Deutsche .Arbeitsfront 'German Labor
Front) (DO) building on Hagenower rtrasse was to be returned on 19 January 19530

been in the process of being enlarged since the sumr:_er of 1952 antra
