When informants Left, the collec ve had six brigades and about 3,000 sheep and 50 cattle. The collective had one old 3-ton truck and one 3-ton Chevrolet truck, but no tractor or threshing mac in e. In 19!x9 and 1950 the collective offices and two stables were constructed, and in August 1951 construction of a warehouse and a building for a small electric plant was underway. Following a press article on the disbandment of the collectives published in July 1951s there was considerable agitation among the residents of Ljuboino to get out of the collective. On 14 July 1951 Vane Vanevski, the political secretary. of the Resan District Committee of the Communist Party, expAiined to a meeting of collective members that they had the right to re iY to leave the collective but that the collective management had the right to decide if they would be permitted to leave. The community of Ljuboino, Resan District, was formed in 19503 It is composed of the following villages: Ljuboino with 250 families,.Dono Dupine with 150-families, Braicino, with 100 families, and Nakolic with 90 families. The population of the community is Orthodox except for a few Moslem families in Nakolic. The chairman of the community is Alekso Tomovski, the secretary is Vandjel Jonoski and the administrative officer is Vlade Petrovski, 2. The political secretary of the 140-member Communist Party organization in the community is Vasil Srbinovski. Risto Srtjnt kris the representative in Ljuboino of the Government Enterprise of Mechanization and In- vestment in Agriculture which has a branch office in Resan. The chairman of the District Peoplets Council in Resen is Ilia Kongulovski, the secretary is Kire Kargovski and the commissioner of social affairs is Petar Dorakovski. 3. There is a 25-man Militia unit in Ljuboino. The headquarters of a KNOJ border guard company is also in Ljuboino. TheKNOJ company is commanded by a first lieutenant. The company has about 20 men in its headquarters in Ljuboino and about 15 men in each of the following blockhouses: Markova Noga, Dupenski monasterj , D,ipenski, Vrh, Baltan, and Rzf.na. 4.
