S. Contingency Plans by v, asbington Special Action Group The President has directed that the oaashington Special Actions Group, established under the provisions of my mernorandun of May 12. 1969, review existing military contingency plans for potential; crises areas. 4 hare existing plans appear to be inadequate, it is contemplated that the group will initiate action to have appro- priate additional plans prepared. The group will initiate its review of a .listing Plans starting with the military Contingency plans for possible contingencies in Korea, the Middle Last, and Berlin. The initial meeting will be held on Friday. June 27, 1969 at 2:30 p. in. in the hite House Situation Room to consider Korean contingencies. Pertinent agendas and background material will be furnished to the membership by June Z5, 1969. Ongoing polit itary pia ng directed by NSDM S is not affected by Henry A.
