to the Austrians a few months ago.
3. Air activity in the Haden-4Jiener feustadt area has increased since 5 Idovember
1951. Jet p1 nes are seen and hoard dai.ly,., from 0800 to 1100 hours, flying
toward the "Jiencr Neustadt air field, The planes fly in inverted V formation
with two pianos on the one side 9 and f our on the o thcr. Planes in similar
formation sometimes circle Baden at an altitude too high for aircraft identi-
fication.

During the first half of November 19519 two Soviet 'units composed of approxi-
mately 200 Women each arrived at the Soviet Headquarters in Baden for clerical
and administrative work in the T3aden-Ilelenenthal area A roxi

Radar-equipped anti-aircraft batteries have been reported in the Baden area.
Several trucks, 9 with three anti-aircraft rifles mounted on each have reportedly
been observed proceeding from Baden toward Eisenstadt, The rifles are of a
caliber sir:txlar to the Cerrian 68 mm gun.
